The fitness certificate is a mandatory document for all commercial vehicles in Delhi. Without it, you cannot legally operate your taxi, and the vehicle can be seized at any traffic checkpoint. Unlike personal cars, commercial vehicles must renew their fitness certificate annually after the initial 2-year validity period.
